A Vodacom employee accused of fraud worth R1.8-million was granted bail on Friday in the Johannesburg Commercial Crimes Court.
Mbokodana Khoza is alleged to have used his position as a Vodacom engineer to intercept text messages with "one-time" online banking passwords.
State prosecutor Richard Chabalala said Khoza was only one part of a larger group which had stolen over R7-million.
